Akio (章央 Akio)[1] is a member of the Myogi NightKids. In the anime he is presented as a member of Thunder Fire.
History[]
He is first seen with Shoichi and Hiromichi at the top of Akina, hoping to see the Eight-Six that beat Takeshi Nakazato. They noticed something coming towards them, wondering if it was they were looking for, only to be disappointed that it was another car. He is the most rational of the trio, as he advises Hiromichi to not bully Takumi and Itsuki. When Itsuki reveals that his car was really just an Eight-Five, he and the others laugh at Takumi and Itsuki.
A furious Takumi chases after the street racers down the mountain pass, Akio refuses to let Takumi pass him. Eventually, Takumi overtakes him using the gutter technique. To this, Akio was shocked, and assumes that Itsuki's car was not an Eight-Five, but rather a well-tuned Eight-Six. However, as he sees the body roll of the car, he begins to doubt that and thinks it was, indeed an Eight-Five. As the three of them park, the trio wonder if they had seen a ghost.
