Atsushi Umebori (梅堀淳, Umebori Atsushi, born July 11, 1972) is a Japanese arranger and composer who has created music for anime, television, commercials, and idol groups.[2] He composed the original score for the Initial D anime series, taking over from Ryuichi Katsumata, spanning Initial D Fourth Stage to Initial D Final Stage, including Initial D Extra Stage 2, Initial D Battle Stage 2, and Initial D Battle Stage 3.[3]
Umebori has also composed and arranged music for various projects, including animated series such as Wangan Midnight, Magic Kaito: Kid the Phantom Thief, ID: Invaded, Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi, several of the Pikachu Shorts, and more.[1] He has also worked with musical artists and idol groups such as Ran Itō, Kiyoshi Hikawa, AKB48, and SKE48.[4][5]
