Ever-Evolving Genius! (進化する天才!!, Shinka Suru Tensai!!, "Evolving genius!!") is the thirty-third chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
As Takumi gets his hand taped to the wheel, Itsuki wonders why the tape is such a big deal. Iketani tells him to get into his car and turn the wheel as far as he can without removing his hand. He realises that his wheels haven't turned very far, and Iketani tells him that the driver can't properly control their car. Despite Iketani and Kenji's concern, Itsuki remains positive that Takumi will be able to handle the challenge. The race begins, and Iketani decides to follow behind the race just in case Takumi crashes. Takumi turns into the first corner too fast and loses control over the Eight-Six. He just manages to regain control by lowering himself in his seat to turn the wheel further, much to Shingo's surprise. After a few turns, Takumi begins to understand how to race with the handicap.
