Counterattack! The True Essence of the Downhill (反撃!!ダウンヒルの真髄, Hangeki!! Daunhiru no Shinzui, "Counterattack!! The Spirit of Downhill") is the thirty-fifth chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
As Takumi enters the next corner, Shingo pumps into the back of the Eight-Six, destabilising the car and sending it into a spin. As Shingo takes the opportunity to overtake, Takumi is instinctively able to recover by performing a 360 degree turn. The collision enrages Takumi, who begins to drive more recklessly, without slowing down. Takumi taps the rear end of the Eight-Six into a guardrail, allowing him to ricochet into a drift. Shingo is shocked that he was able to recover and catch up with him so quickly.
