Usui Pass: Burning Wind! Relentless Race! (熱風!!激走!!碓氷峠, Neppū!! Gekisō!! Usui Tōge, "Hot wind!! Fierce driving!! Usui Pass") is the fifty-eighth chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
Takumi reasons that if the SilEighty can take a corner, then he should be able to take the corner at the same speed, which Iketani is shocked by. Sayuki explains that they'll drive out first, and that the race starts as soon as they get to the first turn. The two cars drive off. Kenji and Iketani lament that Takumi doesn't have a chance of winning against the duo.
Takumi is surprised by how fast Mako is. He doubts that he can take the corners the same, but he manages to follow through. Sayuki is amazed that Takumi is able to keep up with them, and is happy to have a worthy opponent. Takumi struggles to pick up on their rhythm.
Iketani explains to the SpeedStars what Takumi had told him before the start of the race.
