The End of Summer - Conclusion (?) (ジ·エンド·オブ·サマー完結編(?), Ji.Endo.Obu.Samā Kanketsu Hen (?), "The End of Summer Final (?)") is the sixty-fourth chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
Iketani hurries down the expressway to get to Mako, and realises how stupid he'd been. Iketani hopes he can make it in time, but the traffic slows up ahead due to an accident, and he's stuck waiting.
Mako realises Iketani isn't coming, and leaves the parking area angry and upset. Less than a minute later, Iketani pulls up, and begins to cry when he realises Mako isn't there. He sits solemnly for half an hour.
A few days later, Itsuki talks with Takumi about Iketani's relationship. Itsuki reckons Mako dumped him, which surprises Takumi as he thought they were fine at the water park. The two realise that school starts the next day. Itsuki says he won't forget this summer, as he bought a car, and Takumi made his racing debut.
At the gas station, the staff are surprised when Kenta Nakamura of the RedSuns turns up, looking for Takumi.
