The Hill Climb from Hell! (激闘ヒルクライム!!, Gekitō Hirukuraimu!!, "Fierce hillclimb battle!!") is the sixty-seventh chapter of Initial D.

Plot[]

Kenta talks with his friends before they head out to Myogi. He thinks back on what Keisuke had said to him, and decides to challenge the Eight-Six on neutral ground.

At the gas station, Itsuki and Takumi do rock-paper-scissors to decide who drives up to Myogi. Itsuki wins, much to Takumi's annoyance.

At Myogi, the crowd is buzzing. The Takahashi brothers show up, thrilling the onlooking audience, which includes Kenji and Iketani.

The Eight-Six makes its way to Myogi, but they are delayed because Itsuki had misread the map.

At the start line, Keisuke and Nakazato goad each other. Ryosuke notices the wind, and thinks that it'll start raining.

The Eight-Six arrives on Myogi, and Kenji sees the car pass them. Takumi and Itsuki try to spot them, but can't see anywhere to park, and decide to watch the race from close to the top.

Fumihiro tells Nakazato that they'll do 30 minutes of warm up before the time trials, and that they want to start with the uphill battle. Nakazato talks with Shingo, who laments he won't be able to race because of his injured wrist. Nakazato vows not to lose.
