It's like a High-Tech Fighter Jet—Try to Keep Up! (驚異のハイテク戦闘機を追え!!, Kyōi no Haiteku Sentōki wo oe!!, "After the Incredible High-tech Fighter!!") is the sixty-ninth chapter of Initial D.

Plot[]

The two racers fire up the hill, with Nakazato slowly building a lead against Keisuke. Nakazato is pushing his GT-R, making the most of it's AWD system. Keisuke thinks that Nakazato is relying too much on his car, and wonders how he'll manage to overtake.

Ryosuke hopes that Keisuke remembers the FD's strength is it's cornering speed, and that he won't be able to match the GT-R's power. Kenta thinks that Keisuke will win.

At the final straight, Itsuki asks Takumi if Myogi reminds him at all of Akina. Takumi tells him that it reminds him more of Usui Pass, which confuses Itsuki. Takumi explains to him that they have a similar rhythm, but Itsuki doesn't understand. He asks Takumi who he thinks will win, putting his bet on the Night Kids, but Takumi isn't sure.

Nakazato is surprised by how well the FD is doing at following him. He vows not to lose.
