Stop Them at Mt. Akina: The Eight-Six Sallies Forth! (ハチロク出撃 秋名山でむかえうて!!, Hachi Roku Shutsugeki Akinasan de Mukaeute!!, "Eight-Six Attack - Facing the Enemy at Mt. Akina!!") is the eighty-fifth chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
Across Gunma, racers talk about the threat of Emperor, and the teams they have taken down. They believe that Gunma has only two hopes of winning, the Akagi Red Suns and Akina's Eight-Six.
In Shibukawa, Itsuki tells Takumi that he found a magazine article about the Evo IV, and that he'll give it to him so that he can prep for the battle. Takumi declines, as he wouldn't know how to use the info in a battle. Itsuki asks Takumi if he'd want more power in the Eight-Six, and Takumi thinks he's fine as he is, which annoys Itsuki as his Eight-Five is underpowered.
At the Fujiwara Tofu Store, Takumi notices how dirty the Eight-Six has gotten, and decides to wash it. Soon after he finishes cleaning it, Iketani pulls up, and tells him that Emperor is coming to Akina that night.
On Akina, Takumi and the Speed Stars wait for Emperor to arrive.
