High-Tech VS. High-Skill (ハイテクVS.スーパーテクニック, Haiteku VS. Sūpā Tekunikku, "High Tech vs Super Technique") is the eighty-sixth chapter of Initial D.

Plot[]

Emperor arrive on Akina, and Kyoichi greets the Speed Stars. He asks to race the Eight-Six, but says they will happily race all of their members, as long as they get a team sticker if they win all of the races, to which Iketani accepts. Seiji announces that he will be racing the Eight-Six, and Iketani and Kenji realise that he was the one who beat Nakazato, as well as the one who interrupted the race on Myogi. In case Takumi loses, Iketani and Kenji both agree to race for the honor of the team. The Eight-Six pulls up to the start line, and Kyoichi tells Seiji to use Simulation 3. Seiji is surprised, but Kyoichi can tell that Takumi has some unseen skill, as he had beaten Ryosuke. Kenji goes to start the countdown, but Kyoichi tells him that they always let the less powerful car go first, with the other car following soon after. The race begins, and the Eight-Six pulls away from the start line. Seiji thinks he could beat Takumi even without the Evo's power.
