The Trap of a Low-Speed Corner (低速コーナーの落とし穴, Teisoku Kōnā no Otoshiana, "Pitfall of low speed corners") is the ninetieth chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
Seiji manages to put some distance between him and the Eight-Six. The two cars approach Akina's five hairpins, and Seiji drifts the whole way through. Takumi performs a gutter run, allowing him to take the corner at high speed. Seiji realises that the way his car is set up slows him down when he has to take multiple corners in a row. Seiji thinks that the gap between him and Takumi is too large for him to close, but is shocked to see Takumi catching up with him.
