Takumi-kun, Please Take the Wheel! (拓海くん 運転かわって!!, Takumi-kun Unten Kawatte!!, "Takumi-kun, take over driving!!") is the ninety-fifth chapter of Initial D.

Plot[]

Tsukamoto decides to show off to his passengers, but his poor driving technique scares Takumi and makes Natsuki feel car sick.

At the top of the mountain, Tsukamoto is surprised to hear Natsuki is feeling sick, and pretends that he wasn't trying to show off. Tsukamoto takes Takumi away to watch the racing, while Natsuki stays with the car, which Takumi isn't happy with. Tsukamoto asks Takumi what he thought of his driving technique, and he lies, telling him that it all goes over his head.

Back at the car, Natsuki decides to take a walk to get some air. She suddenly feels dizzy while walking past a car, and bumps into it, tapping her watch against the side. The girlfriend of the car's owner notices, and gets angry with her. She calls her boyfriend over, and Natsuki apologises to the pair. The girlfriend tries to point out the scratch on the body paint, but neither of them can find one. The boyfriend decides to drop it, and tells Natsuki to be more careful. The couple walk away, leaving Natsuki feeling terrible, as all she wanted was a look into Takumi's world.

Takumi returns, and Natsuki asks him if he can drive the car down, as she thinks she'll be sick if Tsukamoto drives. Takumi doesn't think he'll let him drive, but the two think of a plan to stroke his ego.

The plan works, and Tsukamoto agrees to let Takumi drive, even offering to teach his some techniques. Natsuki feels much more relaxed with Takumi in control. A car passes them, and Natsuki realises that it's the couple from earlier. She begs Takumi to race, telling him that she won't feel good about herself unless they get beaten. Tsukamoto pleads with Takumi not to, as the driver is one of the best on Akagi, and he believes Takumi doesn't have the skill to win.
