A Shocking Sight! To Akagi (衝撃の目撃 赤城へ!!, Shōgeki no Mokugeki Akagi he!!, "A shocking sight - To Akagi!!") is the one-hundredth chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
Takumi realises that is the caller from before, and goes to hang up. The caller says they can prove it this time, and gives him the address of a love hotel near the Maebashi Interchange, where he can see Natsuki and the salaryman. The caller hangs up, and Takumi realises that she was crying. He starts to find the story more believable, as they had given specific details. He decides to go and check, and asks Bunta if he can borrow the Eight-Six.
At a café, Kenji is shocked to hear that Kyoichi had come to the gas station to challenge Takumi. Iketani tells him that Takumi isn't interested in taking the challenge, because he doesn't wish to in between the RedSuns and Emperor.
As Takumi drives towards the hotel, he keeps thinking about the phone call over and over. He suddenly realises that he might be in love with Natsuki.
He arrives at the hotel, and thinks about how weird he must look hanging around a love hotel. He gets himself a coffee and realises how close he is to Akagi. He thinks about heading over to check the course out, as he thinks Emperor have probably left. A Mercedes-Benz pulls out of the parking lot, and Takumi notices its passenger: Natsuki. He throws his can in rage.
At the café, Iketani says that he's glad Takumi isn't planning on going to Akagi, as he only just managed to beat the Evo IV on Akina. He thinks that Takumi wouldn't be able to win against such a car on an unfamiliar course. He says once Ryosuke beats Kyoichi then he should have no reason to race against Takumi.
On Akagi, Kenta is bored and wishes to race. He notices a car coming up the mountain, and realises that it's the Eight-Six. He wonders why Takumi would come to Akagi.
