Chapter 109

Turmoil (混迷 , Kommei, "Confusion") is the one hundred and ninth chapter of Initial D.

Plot[]

Takumi pretends not to hear Itsuki, so he repeats himself. Takumi walks off, and Itsuki follows behind, saying that Kyoichi is overrated, and would be nothing without his car. Takumi tells Itsuki to shut up, as he doesn't know what he's talking about. He lies and tells Itsuki that he's busy and won't be able to go to Akagi, so he'll have to go with the SpeedStars.

At the gas station, Iketani and Kenji tell Yuichi about the rumors of Takumi's engine blowing on Akagi. Yuichi decides to call Bunta to get some answers, but nobody picks up.

All across Gunma, people talk about the Eight-Six's defeat. They hold out hope that the RedSuns can defeat Emperor.

Keisuke pulls up at the gas station, looking for Takumi. Iketani tells him that it's his day off, and Keisuke asks him to pass on a message: that he doesn't consider the loss valid. He says that the RedSuns will beat Emperor, and Iketani promises to pass on the message, adding that they're all rooting for him.
