Spitfire in Black and White (白と黒の閃光, Shiro to Kuro no Senkō, "Flash of black and white") is the one hundred and eleventh chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
On Akagi, the spectators talk about the Eight-Six's loss the previous night, and wonder whether the RedSuns can actually beat Emperor.
At Lake Akina, Itsuki tells Takumi that he thinks he's cool for only wanting to challenge people on different courses. Takumi dismisses it, saying that what he did yesterday was unrelated. He feels stupid for racing while as angry as he was, and that the engine blowing must have been his punishment. He repeats that Kyoichi is a better driver than him, and that he can deal with the loss, but breaking the car hurts.
Keisuke faces Seiji on Akagi's uphill in a close match that ends with the course record being broken. Kyoichi asks Ryosuke if he has any last words before he gets beaten, and he tells him that they'll soon know who the better racer is between them.
The race begins, and Ryosuke takes the lead, much to the shock of the crowd.
