Déjà Vu Nightmare (悪夢のデジャヴー, Akumu no Dejabū, "Nightmarish Déjà Vu") is the one hundred and thirteenth chapter of Initial D.

Plot[]

Kyoichi thinks back on the race they had had the year prior. Kyoichi explains to Ryosuke his belief that street racers cannot be as good as motorsport professionals. Ryosuke refutes the idea, saying that racing on the mountain passes requires a unique set of skills. He says that debating their theories means nothing, and that they'll have to prove them in a race.

Back in the present, Kyoichi says that this race is a battle of ideologies. He says Ryosuke's theory isn't unique to the passes, as all of his technique is used in other motorsport events. He claims his theory is correct, that racing is all about achieving the fastest speed. Kyoichi positions himself on the inside of the upcoming turn, and makes his move.
