That Car is Too Dangerous! (そのクルマ凶暴につき, Sono Kuruma Kyōbō Ni Tsuki, "Because of the ferocity of that car") is the one hundred and eighteenth chapter of Initial D.

Plot[]

The upgraded Eight-Six speeds through Akina.

Takumi tells the SpeedStars that he finds engines boring, but the others keep wondering what Bunta would put in the Eight-Six. Takumi says that he's not very excited about the idea of a new engine, as it would make it feel like a completely different car.

On Akina, Masashi asks Bunta what he thinks of the new engine, and he tells him that they'll need better suspension. He says he's in love with the engine. Yuichi asks to ride shotgun, but Bunta advises against it, which surprises Yuichi, as he usually loves to scare him with his driving. Bunta gets out and shows the pair the gashes on his legs, caused because he has to brace himself to keep control of the car. He tells Masashi that he'll need to install a bucket seat, but that the car is about 70% of the way to being perfect.

On their drive home, Takumi tells Itsuki that he's tired of school, and just wants it over with so he can get a job and make lots of money to buy a car. Itsuki doesn't understand why he's in such a rush.

The next day as Takumi leaves school, Natsuki comes up to him and asks him why he won't talk to her. He tells her that nothing is wrong, but she doesn't believe he would ignore her over nothing. He snaps at her, asking why she keeps following him around, acting like she's his girlfriend. Takumi tells her to go home, or to see her sugar daddy in the Mercedes. He walks off, leaving a devastated Natsuki shocked that he knew, and wondering how he had found out.
