The Breakthrough! (板ばさみ, Itabasami, "Dilemma") is the one hundred and twenty-sixth chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
Wataru asks Itsuki about the Eight-Six, saying he'd heard it was unbeaten. Itsuki tells him that the Eight-Six is driven by his best friend, much to Wataru's shock. He asks if he can setup a meeting between them, and Itsuki agrees.
Wataru is overjoyed the rest of the drive, but Kazumi is annoyed that Wataru would use Itsuki to meet the Eight-Six driver. Wataru says that Itsuki seems nice, but he just wants to meet the guy who beat the best drivers in Gunma.
Itsuki calls the Fujiwara Tofu Store and begs Takumi to meet Wataru. Takumi agrees, but says that he wont race him, as he still doesnt understand the engine.
That evening, Takumi and Itsuki meet with Kazumi and Wataru at Lake Akina. Wataru is surprised by how young Takumi is.
At the gas station, Iketani tells Yuichi about seeing Wataru's Levin when they went to Akagi. Iketani is jealous of Itsuki's relationship with Kazumi, but Yuichi is happy for Itsuki.
Takumi and Itsuki tell Wataru about the new engine, and Itsuki says the engine is weaker. Takumi explains that the car has more horsepower, but is harder to handle. Wataru takes a look, and is amazed by the engine that is in the car. He closes the hood, and accuses Itsuki and Takumi of lying to him about the engine being slow.
