The White Comet Option (涼介からのオファー, Ryōsuke Kara no Ofā, "Ryosuke's Offer") is the one hundred and forty-sixth chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
Two weeks after the battle with Wataru Akiyama, Takumi does his morning deliveries on Akina.
At school, Itsuki asks how the Eight-Six is doing after the battle. Takumi tells him that it's doing fine, but that the race made him respect the car a lot more. Itsuki asks to go with him on his next downhill run, but Takumi says he'll probably find it too scary. Natsuki sees Takumi from a distance, and is upset that they're not talking again.
At the gas station, Takumi asks Iketani about how he got good at working on cars. Iketani says he's been screwing around with cars since he was in high school, and wonders why Takumi is asking. Takumi figures he should increase his technical knowledge about cars, as it might help him with his driving. Suddenly, Ryosuke Takahashi pulls up in his FC.
