Challenge at Iroha Hill! (挑戦!!いろは坂, Chōsen!! Iroha Zaka, "Challenge!! Irohazaka") is the one hundred and forty-eighth chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
Ryosuke tells Takumi that he could easily set up a meeting between him and Kyoichi if he wanted. Takumi asks him to, and explains that if he had the opportunity he'd want to race him again. Ryosuke asks what conditions he'd race under, and is impressed when Takumi says that he'd want to face him on his home course. Ryosuke tells him that Kyoichi's home course is the Nikko Irohazaka, before hanging up.
The next day, Takumi tells Itsuki about Ryosuke's new team. While Itsuki is excited about the idea, Takumi is unsure as to what to do.
At the gas station, Itsuki passed on the news to Iketani and Kenji. Originally hesitant to let Takumi join the Takahashi's, they eventually realise that it would be a good way for him to improve.
That evening, Takumi sits in front of the Eight-Six, trying to make up his mind. He finally decides that he wants to race, and heads to Irohazaka.
Some time later, Itsuki calls the Fujiwara Tofu Store, and asks Bunta if he can speak with Takumi. Bunta tells him that he's headed out of town with the Eight-Six.
In Tochigi, Takumi consults his map, and finds where he needs to go.
