Misfire Vs. Low Center of Gravity (ミスファイアVS低重心, Misu Faia VS Tei Jūshin, "Misfire vs Low Centre of Gravity") is the one hundred and fifty-second chapter of Initial D.

Plot[]

The two cars take another of the hairpin turns, and Kyoichi realises that the Eight-Six's engine must be a racing one, though he doubts it will help him win.

At the top of the course, Seiji can't imagine a situation where Kyoichi would lose on his home course, especially against the Eight-Six.

On Akagi, Ryosuke tells Keisuke that while both cars might have racing engines, he doesn't think the race will be won with just horsepower. He explains to Keisuke the benefit of a dry sump in an engine, that it lowers the centre of gravity on the car, and that Takumi's cornering will be better than ever because of it.

On Irohazaka, Kyoichi is shocked by the difference in the Eight-Six.
