Three Bridges to Victory--Part Two (大決着!!トリプルカウンター(後編), Dai Ketchaku!! Toripuru Kauntā (Kōhen), "Great Conclusion!! Triple Counter (Continued)") is the one hundred and fifty-sixth chapter of Initial D.

Plot[]

Takumi is able to straighten the Eight-Six, putting him in the perfect position to take the inside on the next corner. Kyoichi, realising he is at risk of colliding with the wall alongside the course, brakes, allowing Takumi to take the lead and win the battle.

At the bottom of the course, Kyoichi tells Takumi that Ryosuke had told him that he was coming. He asks Takumi how he knew he could make the turn on the third bridge, and Takumi isn't able to give a proper answer, as it was instinctive. Kyoichi tells Takumi that his Eight-Six is unusual, but that he respects it. Kyoichi drives off, and Takumi thinks to himself that he didn't really win, and considers the battle a tie.

As Kyoichi drives off, he thinks that Takumi is too big for Gunma, and that he'll be a better racer than even Ryosuke. He thinks that in a few years, if he gets himself a proper racing car, he'll be the best driver anyone has ever seen.

Back at the Fujiwara Tofu Store, Takumi is exhausted, as he was only able to get an hours sleep. Bunta prepares the Eight-Six for deliveries, and wonders where he was. Takumi tells him that he'll probably be out late more often, and Bunta tells him that he isn't bothered as long as he's back in time for his deliveries.

Takumi heads up to Akina.
