The Solution (追及, Tsuikyū, "Questioning") is the one hundred and fifty-eighth chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
Takumi confronts the girl, Shiraishi, about the phone calls. She tries to run away, but he tells her that he just wants to know if it was her.
On the schools roof, Takumi asks Shiraishi why she had told him about Natsuki. She tells him that she couldn't stand to see him and Natsuki together, with everything that was happening between Natsuki and the salaryman. Takumi asks how she found out, and she tells him that the Mercedes that the salaryman drives is her family's car.
Natsuki leaves school, leaving her friends to work on their cultural festival project.
Shiraishi asks Takumi if he's going to tell Natsuki what she did, but Takumi says that he wont, as he doesn't want anything to do with her.
At the gas station, Itsuki tells Iketani and Kenji about Takumi's race with Kyoichi on Irohazaka. Itsuki tells them that Takumi had said the race was a tie, which they find impressive. Iketani thinks with the new engine Takumi's skills are evolving.
At the Fujiwara Tofu Store, Bunta thinks about Takumi's growth.
