Putting the "In" in Inverse Cornering (インベタのさらにイン!!, In Beta no Sarani In!!, "The Inside Past The Inside!!") is the one hundred and sixty-seventh chapter of Initial D.

Plot[]

Takumi drifts through the corners, and gets a bad feeling about Kai, as if he is about to make a big move.

At the finish line, Seiji asks Kyoichi what he had meant before about Kai. Kyoichi tells him that Kai will have to use the quirks of the road to his advantage to win, but Seiji doesn't understand what he means.

Kai is amazed by how fast Takumi is going, as the leaves are leaving him with little grip on the road. He decides to ignore his dad's plan, and chooses to make his move just up ahead, regardless of if Takumi messes up.

At the starting line, Itsuki wonders if Takumi can win.

Kai starts to make his move, swinging his car to the right.
