The Pitter Patter of Spring (春の足音, Haru no Ashioto, "Spring's Approach") is the one hundred and eighty-seventh chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
Shiraishi tells Takumi that she had left chocolate for him on Valentine's Day, and says that she knows she isn't his type, but that she needed to do it for her sake. She asks Takumi if he fixed things between him and Natsuki, and if he likes her. Takumi tells her that he does, and she is happy to hear it, noting that Natsuki does seem to be fixing her mistake. She admits she had felt guilty about what she had done, but that she could never tell Natsuki that she was sorry. Takumi tells her that he has to go, and heads to work. As he leaves, Shiraishi cries, and wishes him goodbye.
In March, Yuichi and Iketani note that the others are graduating today. Iketani asks Yuichi what he thinks Takumi and Natsuki are going to do, as they're both going their own ways. Yuichi says he doesn't know how they'll deal with it, but that all they can do is wish them well.
At the school, the graduation happens.
