Tohru's Honorable Defeat (トオル玉砕!!, Tōru Gyokusai!!, "Toru's Honorable Defeat!!") is the two hundred and second chapter of Initial D.

Plot

Toru sees how Takumi hovers his front right wheel over the gutter, and decides that if an Eight-Six can do it, then he should at least try to replicate the technique. He sticks his front right wheel over the gutter, but is not able to shift his weight in the same way, and the wheel falls into the gutter. His caught wheel causes the Roadster to turn sharply to the right, and it flips over, coming to a stop a short distance away. The onlookers and Takumi rush to make sure Toru is alright. The damage to the Roadster causes Toru to forfeit the race, with Project D winning the race by default.

At the bottom of the course, both teams prepare for the uphill race. Atsuro comments that Toru was lucky he wasn't hurt in his crash. He hopes that Keisuke is good, as he's planning to go all out. Shinichi tells him not to do anything too crazy, but Atsuro tells him there's no better time for him to take risks.

Keisuke is surprised that Atsuro drives a 25GT Turbo ER34, as he had expected a GT-R.
