The Old Gang in Akina (秋名の仲間達, Akina no Nakama Tachi, "Friends in Akina") is the two hundred and eighth chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
At 4am, Takumi heads home from his deliveries.
At the Fujiwara Tofu Store, Takumi asks Bunta if he can cover the next few days of deliveries, as he'll be away with Project D the week after. Bunta wonders why he'd want to do more deliveries, and Takumi tells him that he wants to put in as much time on Akina as he can, as he doesn't want to lose his feel for the road. Bunta is satisfied with the answer.
Sometime later, Takumi and Itsuki meet at Lake Akina, and talk about work. Itsuki tells Takumi about his plans to get a loan to get a turbocharger for his Eight-Five, and asks Takumi if he has any plans for his money, but he doesn't.
Takumi heads to the gas station, and Yuichi chides him for hanging around his old job, joking that he needs to get a girlfriend. They ask him about Natsuki, and Takumi tells them that they exchange letters, and that she sounds like she's having a good time. Iketani asks why he doesn't go to see her, but he says that he's too busy.
