The Power of Daiki (Part Two) (大輝の実力 (後編), Daiki no Jitsuryoku (Kōhen), "Daiki's True Strength (Continued)") is the two hundred and twelfth chapter of Initial D.

Plot[]

Daiki tells Todo that he'd rather use his own car, as he thinks the school's demonstration car would be too powerful, and he'd rather win on his own merits. Todo accepts this, but tells him that he shouldn't hesitate to drive the best car that he can.

Sakai is surprised that Daiki would turn down the chance to use the demo car, but Daiki reminds him that his car was also tuned by Todo. Sakai says that Project D are supposed to be good, but he doubts they could win against anyone from the school. Daiki tells him that their showing off online annoys him, and that it makes him want to beat them more.

At Irohazaka, Seiji and Kyoichi talk about Project D's challenge to the Todo School. Seiji thinks they should tell Project D that it isn't a good idea, but Kyoichi knows that it would be in vain, as Ryosuke wouldn't back down. He says that even Emperor knew to keep away from the Todo School, and that Project D has no chance to win.

The next day, Daiki practices on the Enna Skyline. A few students watch on, and think that Project D must be crazy to challenge them. They get news that Project D has arrived, and they spread the word.
