The Night Before the Battle (決戦前夜, Kessen Zenya, "The Night Before the Battle") is the two hundred and thirteenth chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
Project D arrive at the Enna Skyline. Fumihiro speaks with the members of the Todo School, who inform him that there will be no traffic on the course as the roads are still under construction.
Kenta approaches Keisuke, who is surprised by his presence. Kenta asks if he could ride in the passenger seat during one of his runs, but Keisuke tells him there likely won't be any time, as it will likely be a tough race. Tomiguchi tells Keisuke that his car is ready, and they set off on a run, with Takumi following suit.
Fumihiro and Ryosuke talk about the Todo School, and Fumihiro wonders if the Todo School is just being courteous or if they're confident they'll win. Ryosuke tells him that the Todo School is a training ground for professional drivers, and that Emperor's Kyoichi Sudo is a graduate. Fumihiro thinks that they shouldn't have challenged the Todo School yet, but Ryosuke says that if they aren't able to beat them then they weren't going to succeed elsewhere.
