The Crash (激突, Gekitotsu, "It's On") is the two hundred and thirty-second chapter of Initial D.

Plot

Keisuke realises that he's followed Sakai too fast into the corner. His body instinctively turns the wheel, trying to keep his car from colliding with the guardrail. He just barely manages to pull through the corner, shocking Sakai.

Ryosuke is glad that he chose Keisuke for the team, as he doesn't have to lecture him much, as he has heard it all before. His natural driving instincts also mean he needs less advice.

Kyoichi realises that Sakai must have tricked Keisuke into taking the corner too quickly. He is impressed by Keisuke's handling, and commends Ryosuke on his teaching. Keisuke drifts through the third hairpin, shocking the onlookers, including Seiji. Keisuke's driving becomes intense, vowing to beat Sakai. Sakai says that the brake checking is only the beginning, as he has more tricks up his sleeve. He's surprised that Keisuke is so determined to catch up, because his previous trick of entering the turn too quickly usually leaves his opponent shook.
