Practice (Part One) (プラクティス, Purakutisu, "Practice") is the two hundred and fortieth chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
At Project D's meeting spot, Fumihiro is shocked when Keisuke tells him Ryosuke had gone ahead to scout the course, as they already have a video of it. He feels uneasy without him there.
At the Todo School, Daiki ask Tomoyuki if he want's to go and see Project D doing practice runs on Happogahara. Tomoyuki declines, and tells him that he doesn't see what he can gain from an amateur race, but because Todo had asked him, he's going to go all out.
At Happogahara, Ryosuke tells Keisuke and Takumi that he needs the best driver for this course, so they should do five laps at 80%. Matsumoto and Takumi notice how riled up Keisuke is, but Matsumoto tells him to go at his own pace, even though he might not end up racing. Fumihiro asks Ryosuke why he had come to the course ahead of them, and he explains that he just wanted to feel the course for himself. He asks Fumihiro to take over for him while he sleeps, as he had done three all-nighters to get a report done. Fumihiro accepts, but is confused.
