The First Corner (Part Two) (第1コーナー (後編), Dai 1 Kōnā (Kōhen), "The First Corner (Continued)") is the two hundred and forty-fifth chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
The two racers tackle the early corners, with Takumi maintaining his lead.
Ryosuke tells Fumihiro that them starting from a standstill gave Tomoyuki an advantage, as a professional would be able to tell how high the Eight-Six could rev before needing to shift. Ryosuke admits Takumi likely wouldn't be able to win based just on technique, and struggles to think of many advantages it would have, as he was unable to read the Civic. Fumihiro wonders if the race was over before it really began, but Ryosuke tells him there is one reason that he chose Takumi over Keisuke, and it just might win them the race.
Takumi and Tomoyuki tackle a series of corners.
Sakai notes that the course has four distinct sections, but that the second section will be a decider.
