The Problem (疑問, Gimon, "Doubt") is the two hundred and forty-sixth chapter of Initial D.

Plot[]

Sakai imagines that Tomoyuki is just waiting for the second section, where he'll have a better chance at overtaking.

Tomoyuki realises they're entering the second section of the course, which was recently finished, and notes that the roads will be wider, but also still bumpy. He notices that the Eight-Six's engine seems powerful, but doubts its suspension was given as much attention.

Along the course, Seiji informs Kyoichi that Project D have chosen to race with the Eight-Six. Kyoichi doesn't find it surprising as Seiji does, noting that normal rules don't apply on the streets. He thinks that this was a poor choice on Ryosuke's part, however.

Takumi slips while taking a corner, due to the rough nature of the new roads. Tomoyuki commends the Eight-Six and Takumi's ability to maintain control over the Eight-Six, but wonders what the point of the race is.
