Beat Down for the Fat Boys (デブ退治, Debu Taiji, "Fatty Eliminated") is the two hundred and sixty-fourth chapter of Initial D.

Plot[]

The two racers from Tokyo are shocked that the S13 had caught up with them, not realising that it is actually the Eight-Five tailing them.

Iketani and Kenji are amazed by how fast Takumi can drive in the Eight-Five.

The S15 is able to put some distance in-between it and the Eight-Five in the straightaways, but Takumi is easily able to catch up in the corners. The passenger realises that the other car isn't the S13, but the driver is too focused to listen. The driver performs his special technique, ultra-late breaking, but is easily overtaken by Takumi performing a gutter run. Utterly defeated, the pair agree to pretend it never happened.

The next day at the gas station, Itsuki recounts the events of the race to Iketani, telling him that once they were passed the S15 headed towards the hot springs. Iketani is glad that he asked Takumi to be his insurance, but tells Itsuki he shouldn't be cocky, because only Takumi could have won that race in the Eight-Five. Itsuki and Iketani talk about Takumi's skill, and agree that he will never be defeated on Akina, unaware that he already has been.

At the Fujiwara Tofu Store, Bunta thinks that Takumi has a long way to go.
