The Prince Who Rode the Rotary (ロータリーに乗った王子様, Rōtarī ni Notta Ōji Sama, "The Prince Who Drove a Rotary") is the two hundred and sixty-fifth chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
At a café in Saitama, Kyoko Iwase listens to her friend talk about her new boyfriend. She tells her that she doesn't understand how she could date someone so soon after going through a breakup, saying that she'd rather be alone until she found the right person. Her friend lightly mocks her for being unrealistic, but Kyoko doesn't want to compromise on her idea of the perfect guy; someone who drives a rotary, and is faster than her on the mountain. The pair leave the café, with Kyoko heading off up the hills.
The next day, Fumihiro and Keisuke head out to record the roads at Sadamine, Project D's next course. Fumihiro tells Keisuke that he doesn't have to come, as it's normally Kenta's job, but Keisuke wants to take the opportunity to practice.
After reaching the mountain, Keisuke comments that the roads are tight, and that it feels as though the course was built to favor the Eight-Six. Fumihiro prepares the camcorder, and the pair go to drive off, before noticing another RX-7 pull up.
