A Prince in the End (やっぱり王子様, Yappari Ōji Sama, "A Prince After All") is the two hundred and seventieth chapter of Initial D.

Plot[]

Keisuke apologises for being rude, but Kyoko tells him that he's right, and that she'd say the same if the roles were reversed. Keisuke drives off into the night, leaving a crying Kyoko to regret not listening to her car sooner.

Some time later, Keisuke turns up in one of Project D's support vans, and tells Kyoko that they'll take her car to a noodle shop up ahead.

At the noodle shop, Tomiguchi examines the FD, and says that the cooling system's hose is damaged and will need to be replaced. Keisuke assists him in the maintenance.

At the top of the mountain, the local team hear that Kyoko's car is being worked on, and deicide to head down and see if they can help. Takumi asks Fumihiro if they can fix it, and he says that they keep plenty of spare parts in the vans, so it should be easy. Fumihiro remembers what Ryosuke had said before about picking the course to further Keisuke's growth. Ryosuke explains that Keisuke lacks some key technical skills that he needs.

Keisuke and Tomiguchi manage to get Kyoko's FD working again. Kyoko goes to thank Keisuke, but he tells her just to give him a good race. Keisuke and Tomiguchi leave to work on Keisuke's car, leaving the local team surprised by how helpful he had been. Kyoko is overwhelmed by her feelings for Keisuke.
