A Painful Conclusion (せつない決着, Setsunai Ketchaku, "Painful Conclusion") is the two hundred and eightieth chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
Keisuke gains on Kyoko, shocking her. Keisuke theorises that Kyoko's single turbo has a slight hitch, and says that her mistake was breaking her own momentum by braking. The two cars enter into a corner, and Keisuke forces the nose of his FD into Kyoko's line, preventing her from accelerating. Due to his twin-turbo setup, Keisuke's FD has minimal turbo-lag, while Kyoko's experiences a lot more. The two cars enter the courses tightest hairpin side by side. Kyoko takes the inside, giving her the advantage, but her lack of experience racing alongside an opponent discourages her. Keisuke takes advantage of her hesitation and overtakes in the corner. Kyoko is disappointed by her loss.
