Nobuhiko Learns A Secret (Part Two) (延彦の発見 (後編), Nobuhiko no Hakken (Kōhen), "Nobuhiko's Discovery (Continued)") is the two hundred and eighty-fourth chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
With both races won, Project D focus on setting the new course records.
Wataru asks what Nobuhiko thought of Takumi's racing, and he admits that he hardly got to see it. Wataru gloats that his race with Takumi was a close one, but Nobuhiko reckons that he wouldn't have stood a chance if the course had been fully downhill. Nobuhiko tells them that it seemed like Takumi was letting him keep up with him, and that once he pulled away he realised why he's unbeatable. Takumi passes them on his time trial runs, and they wonder by how much he'll beat their record. Wataru says that it was an honor to race Takumi, but Nobuhiko tells him that he's figured out how to beat Takumi.
The next day, at the gas station, Kenji turns up to show Iketani and Itsuki the news of Project D's latest victory. The info about the race excited the trio, and they decide to go and see Project D's next race in person.
In Saitama, Kyoko's friend is proud of her for asking Keisuke if he was single, and encourages her to ask him out. Kyoko doesn't think she's cute enough, and decides to have a makeover.
