Target: Eight Six (ハチロク包囲網, Hachi Roku Hōi Mō, "Eight-Six Under Siege") is the two hundred and eighty-sixth chapter of Initial D.

Plot

Kyoko doesn't understand why he's being mean to her, but he tells her that she's getting in his way by being here. She asks him to let her just watch, as she likes him, and she's never felt that way before. Keisuke tells her that he is distracted by her being there, which wouldn't be an issue if he didn't like her. He tells her to leave, leaving her crying. Fumihiro asks if he's ok, but Keisuke is unsure, and decides to leave. As he drives off, he admits to himself that he messed that up, but says that he can't afford any distractions.

On Akina the next morning, Takumi does his delivery runs.

In Saitama, Kyoko thinks about what Keisuke had said the night before. She plans on trying to win him over.

At a café, Wataru introduces Nobuhiko to Sakamoto, a racer friend of his who will race for them in the next round. He asks Nobuhiko how he plans to beat the Eight-Six.
