Chapter 290

The X-Factor (不確定要素, Fukakutei Yōso, "Uncertain Elements") is the two hundred and ninetieth chapter of Initial D.

Plot[]

Fumihiro is surprised by how quickly Ryosuke fell asleep, and wonders what he had meant about the race being Takumi's biggest hurdle.

Project D arrive at Maze Pass, and Wataru approaches them. He greets Takumi, and tells Keisuke that he is his opponent for the uphill battle. Fumihiro is surprised to see Nobuhiko, but he tells him that he is only support staff for the race, and lets him know that they're clearing the course for them. Ryosuke tells Takumi and Keisuke that there is a 50% chance of rain, but that their focus should be on their practicing, and they should do 50 laps of the course. The two drivers head off on their runs. Fumihiro notices the Cappuccino, and wonders if it is their car for the downhill.
