And the Winner Is (決着, Ketchaku, "Conclusion") is the three hundred and fifteenth chapter of Initial D.

Plot[]

Wataru is shocked by how much Keisuke is pressuring him, and wonders if he is losing his focus. Keisuke realises that his own concentration is slipping.

Ryosuke explains to Fumihiro that its impossible to keep your focus for such a long period of time, as even the most trained people tend to lose concentration after about half an hour. Fumihiro is confused, as professional drivers often race for hours at a time, but Ryosuke tells him that they would lose focus during the less intense parts of courses, such as on straightaways. He says that that factor is what makes windy mountain passes much tougher than professional race tracks, and that with rainy conditions such as these a split-second loss of focus can cost you the race.

Kyoko believes Keisuke can win.

Around the course, the spectators notice the rain begin to fall even harder than it was before.
