Final Showdown in Saitama (Part Two) (埼玉エリア最終戦 (後編), Saitama Eria Saishū Sen (Kōhen), "The Saitama Area's Final Battle (Continued)") is the three hundred and thirty-fifth chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
On Tsuchisaka, in Saitama, Ichijo and Aikawa talk about their upcoming race with Project D. Ichijo says that if they win they can use the resulting attention to make money for their auto-shop. Aikawa isn't sure they can win, but Ichijo suggests that they fix the race.
At 9PM, Project D arrive on Tsuchisaka, and Takumi notices that Wataru had been right, as their opponents drive 4WD Lancer Evolutions. Aikawa tells Fumihiro and Ryosuke that they want to have separate practice runs, ostensibly because they don't want Project D to cause them to crash. Ryosuke is initially against the idea, as they normally practice together, but agrees after Aikawa says he will call off the race.
Keisuke is annoyed by the locals, because he believes they just want to keep Project D from having enough time to practice. He doesn't think that having less practice will be enough for them to lose however.
Fumihiro thinks that having less time to practice will be a good learning experience for Takumi, but Ryosuke is uneasy. He tells Fumihiro to keep an eye out, as he thinks there might be something else going on.
