Chapter 348

A Difference in Grade (格の違い, Kaku no Chigai, "Difference in Rank") is the three hundred and forty-eighth chapter of Initial D.

Plot[]

Aikawa is shocked Keisuke would pull up next to him, as the road up ahead narrows sharply because of roadworks. As the two cars approach the roadworks, Aikawa panics and backs out, fearing that they both would crash. Keisuke takes his opportunity and pulls ahead, winning the race.

At the top of the course, Aikawa shouts at Keisuke for making such a risky move, but Keisuke shuts him down by saying that they could have both fit if he had moved over a few centimetres. Keisuke says he is disappointed as he was expecting a proper test of skill. Humiliated, Aikawa trembles with rage.

Preparations are made for the downhill run. Fumihiro notes that Ichijo has removed the rear wing from his Lancer Evolution. Ichijo approaches Takumi, and says he has to tell him something before they start.
