Strategy Session (陽動作戦, Yōdō Sakusen, "Diversionary Tactics") is the three hundred and forty-ninth chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
Ichijo tells Takumi that because of his loss Aikawa has called some of his bōsōzoku friends. He claims he just wants Takumi to know that he has bigger problems than winning the race, as he might get hurt if he wins. Takumi asks if he wants him to lose the race on purpose, but Ichijo denies that is his intention.
At the starting line, Ichijo mocks Aikawa for how confident he was about his race, and hopes Takumi will heed his advice. Matsumoto notices that Takumi seems out of it, and is surprised when he hears what Ichijo had said. Matsumoto tells him that he's just trying to psych him out, and that he should race as he always does, as they came to win. Takumi agrees.
The race begins with Ichijo in the lead.
