Danger in the Rear-View (Part Two) (迫り来る危機 (後編), Semari Kuru Kiki (Kōhen), "Imminent Crisis (Continued)") is the three hundred and fifty-fourth chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
Ichijo's new strategy to block the Eight-Six involves holding the inside line on the corners tightly, as he doesn't think it would be possible to overtake from the outside. Takumi notices that the outside line is wide open, and decides to make his move.
At the top of the course, Aikawa and his friend hear that the bōsōzoku gang have arrived.
The narrator explains that Ichijo is a much better driver than Ryosuke had explained, as he is skilled at using the Active Yaw Control and the ABS, but its sensitivity means that constant adjustments are needed. Thanks to his battle with Bunta on Akina, Takumi is able to notice such a subtle weakness. Takumi sees exactly what he needs to do to overtake.
