Loneliness of the Driver (Part Two) (孤独なランナー (後編), Kodoku na Rannā (Kōhen), "Lonely Driver (Continued)") is the three hundred and sixty-second chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
Kyoko doesn't understand why Keisuke is suddenly so cold, as he had been nice to her all day. He tells her that Project D takes all of his energy, and that if he couldn't give 100% to the team then he wouldn't want to be a part of it. Kyoko says she only wants to watch him from afar, and he tells her that he would be fine with that if he didn't know. He explains that when he likes a girl he has to give her 100%, and if he can't do that then he doesn't want a relationship. He knows she feels the same way too, as she definitely wouldn't be happy just being a cheerleader for him. He apologises, but reiterates that he just can't be her boyfriend.
Later, at a café, Kyoko tells her friend what had happened. She sympathises for her, and says that she will get over him eventually.
The narrator says that Spring has finally ended, and the beginning of Summer brings Project D's next big match with it.
