Chapter 370

Day of Decision (決戦当日, Kessen Tōjitsu, "Day of the Battle") is the three hundred and seventieth chapter of Initial D.

Plot[]

Keisuke and Takumi settle in at the inn, and they both feel guilty for leaving their teammates to sleep in their cars. They talk about how tough the course is, before Takumi drifts off, leaving Keisuke shocked that he can fall asleep so quickly. He wonders why Takumi doesn't seem as stressed as him.

On Tsukuba, Kenta works on his tan, while the other support staff lounge in the shade. Fumihiro is glad they could get Takumi and Keisuke into a hotel, as they need to be well rested for the races.

At the gas station in Shibukawa, Iketani tells Itsuki that Takumi will be facing off against a Honda S2000. They wonder how Takumi will fare against it, as the S2000 is famously perfectly balanced.

At 5pm, Takumi goes around the course on the scooter, examining all of the corners.

At the top of the course, Fumihiro notes how long Takumi is taking, as Keisuke had only taken 15 minutes.

At 7pm, both teams prepare for the downhill. Takumi notes the aura around Joshima. Fumihiro asks Joshima what position he would like to start in, and he decides to start by following.
