A Miraculous Pace (驚異のペース管理, Kyōi no Pēsu Kanri, "Amazing Pace Management") is the three hundred and seventy-ninth chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
The spectators realise that the race is on its sixth lap, and they wonder which of the racers will win.
Takumi realises that the line is moving again, and doesn't understand why. He wonders if this is how Joshima drives during time trials, as he can't imagine setting a personal best like this.
Daiki is surprised that Takumi and Joshima are racing almost equally, even with Takumi's ability to stick to his opponent. Sakai thinks they must be missing something, as he believes Joshima could leave him behind if he really wanted to.
Matsumoto shows Ryosuke Takumi's lap times, and he tells Fumihiro to ask for a pit stop after the current lap so they can refuel.
Takumi asks to see the lap times, as he imagines the S2000's must be all over the place, but Fumihiro says that it is him who is all over the place. Takumi is surprised to see that Joshima's lap times are consistent each time.
