Appointment With Fate (Part Two) (運命の出会い (後編), Ummei no Deai (Kōhen), "Fateful Encounter (Continued)") is the four hundred and twenty-ninth chapter of Initial D.
Plot[]
Everyone is shocked by the slap, and Mika explains that it was on behalf of her friend Tomoko, who Takumi had supposedly broken the heart of. She thinks he's disgusting for using his fame to have his way with her and then dump her. Iketani asks her if she's 100% sure Takumi is the guy who went out with her friend, as they suspect it might be the impostors. Mika doesn't believe their story, but agrees to text a photo of Takumi to Tomoko to make sure it was him. She leaves, and Takumi becomes angry with the impostors. Iketani and Kenji tell him that he should let Ryosuke know what has happened.
Takumi calls Fumihiro, who is already aware of the impostors. He is surprised by what has happened, and says that they will have to do something about them. He says he will be in contact, and hangs up. Takumi is humiliated by the slap, and is depressed about how mad Mika seemed.
In Saitama, Mika calls Tomoko, who confirms that Takumi is not the guy who had dumped her. Mika is shocked, as she realises she'd slapped a completely innocent person.
