Fireball Boy, The Fastest In North Kanto (北関東最速火の玉ボーイ, Kitakantō Saisoku Hinotama Bōi, "North Kanto's Fastest Fireball Boy") is the four hundred and fifty-ninth chapter of Initial D.

Plot[]

Kobayakawa realises they are approaching the section where the road widens, and he wonders if Keisuke will make his move.

At the starting line, Tomiguchi explains that because the new bodykit makes the FD so wide it isn't suited for side-by-side racing anymore, so it is tuned to allow Keisuke to suddenly accelerate at any point. He admits that the steering can be very sensitive, so dragging out the race would leave Keisuke at a disadvantage.

Kobayakawa can't figure out when Keisuke will make his move, but relaxes as they enter a narrow section. Knowing his opponent would be certain that he wouldn't make a move, Keisuke quickly accelerates, disappearing around the corner. Kobayakawa realises that the pace of the battle has changed.
